📚Basic English Grammar:Phrase and their classification📚
👉Phrase একটি শব্দগুচ্ছ যাতে কোন subject এবং finite verb থাকে না ও যা একটি sentence কে অর্থপূর্ণ করে তোলে।
👉Example:
1.He is indeed *a man of parts.*
2.Life is not *a bed of roses.*
2.She has no *kith and kin*
Bold অক্ষরের শব্দগুলোর কোন subject এবং finite verb নেই কিন্তু তাও sentenceটিকে একটি অর্থ দিচ্ছে। এগুলো phrase।
👉Types of Phrases:
Phrase সাধারণত: তিন ধরনের
1.Noun Phrase.
2.Adjective Phrase
3.Adverbial Phrase
✍️1.Noun Phrase:
যে শব্দগুচ্ছ noun এর কাজ করে তাকে Noun Phrase বলে।
✍️চেনার উপায়:
Noun Phrase সাধারণত ‘কী’ প্রশ্নের উত্তর দেয়।
✍️ Example:
I love *to listen to music.*
✍️2.Adjective Phrase:
যে phrase adjective এর কাজ করে তাকে Adjective Phrase বলে।
✍️চেনার উপায়: Adjective Phrase মূলতঃ ‘কেমন’ প্রশ্নের উত্তর দেয়।
✍️Example:
The girl is always *full of life.*
✍️3.Adverbial Phrase:
যে শব্দগুচ্ছ adverb এর কাজ করে তাকে Adverbial Phrase বলে।
✍️ চেনার উপায়: Adverbial Phrase ‘কখন’, 'কোথায়’, ‘কীভাবে’, ‘কোন শর্তে’ ইত্যাদি প্রশ্নের উত্তর দেয়।

She said it *in a polite way.*
